Zahrat El-Ihsan, the first modern school for young Orthodox girls, was established on August 13, 1881. Zahrat El Ihsan school is fully integrated with the Lebanese education system, and offers its students the opportunity to prepare and sit for the official exams of the French program simultaneously. Since its inception in 1881, Zahrat El Ihsan has succeeded in upholding its traditions, cherishing multilingualism, and faithfulness to the values of its community, without losing track of the present and preparing for the future.
